Hoi I'm Anri and I've never made a guide before so forgive me for any silly mistakes I may make within it.

Firstly, warning. It is not for new players
Depending on what version of this build you chose to use, investment required into it will decrease or increase by quite a lot
The build presented is it's "base" version that I use and is tailored to my playstyle but I will offer alternatives/modifications further into the guide

This is my 3-way switchva build I've cooked up, it's main feature is being able to use molecular prime in 3 different states:

  1. Slowva, which hits it's maximum slow cap at 145% STR (75% animation speed decrease)

  2. Speedva, which hits it's maximum speed buff cap at 40% STR (30% animation speed increase)

  3. Neutralva, which requires flat 70% STR (0% animation speed increase or decrease)

It is also capable of fairly easily surviving SP content with combination of Null Star, [Adaptation] and [Molecular Fission] Augment.
Admittedly I did not test its survivability beyond level 2000 via circuit but I believe for vast majority of players it will be quite enough. It can also be adjusted for more survivability if needed.

Core requirements:

  • Empower subsume - Increases strength of next used Ability by 50%

  • Molt Vigor Arcane - Grants +45% strength on operator ability.

  • Madurai Sling strength - Switching to frame upon chained sling adds 40% ability strength for 20 seconds.

How it works:

Although Overframe does not show it properly, [Overextended] combined with rank 3 [Power Donation], reduce [Nova]'s strength to 20% which allows for activating one of the 3 states at any moment.
By default, due to 20% STR, [Nova] will act as "Speedva" increasing enemy animation speed by 30%.
Upon activating Empowered next Molecular Prime cast will have strength of 70%, giving it 0% animation speed change which allows for priming enemies without any risk.
Going further with this, combining Empower with Chained sling for 40% STR and Molt [Vigor] Arcane for 45% STR, will push next Molecular Prime cast to 155% strength, decreasing enemy animation speed by 75%.
While casting empower and switching to operator is way more work than just activating Molecular prime, it allows for complete flexibility in any missions type.

Variants / alternatives / modifications

  • Survivability:

    For this build to run smoothly, armor for adaptation to work better or a substitute mod will be needed. Here I offer some options I came up with:

    1. Arcane Guardian - Not so very reliable 15% chance for +900 armor on hit, lasting 20 seconds but it exists.

    2. Arcane Reaper - For melee enthusiast it's essentially free +24 hp/s regen and +660 armor for 10s.

    3. Blue Archon shards - Each normal shard provides 150 armor while Tau variant gives +225. The amount used I leave for you to decide. (Personally I use 3)

    4. Umbral Fiber - While not as effective as previous alternatives if one is willing to invest an umbral forma and [Sacrifice] some efficiency, replacing Vitality and Streamline with Umbral Vitality and Umbral fiber will improve your survivability.

    5. Rolling Guard - If you like to move a lot and you're confident Null star is enough to [Protect] you from most damage that you do not manage to avoid, [Rolling Guard] is a solid replacement that'll grant you 3 second invulnerability and status cleanse every 7 seconds.

    6. Catalyzing Shield - Shield gating may be an option that you can make work so while I leave it here as a mention, I'm not going to get into how to make it work as that'd probably require more testing and even more space in this guide.

    I'm sure there's more ways to improve survivability but I think that's enough from me

-Duration:

While this build has plenty of duration for Molecular Prime range to be very far already, pushing it further can be useful for open worlds or circuit:

  1. Molt Efficiency - While shields are active, grants up to 6% duration per second for maximum of 36%

  2. Red Archon shards - Each normal shard provides 10% duration while Tau variant gives 15%, allowing you to get up to 75% more duration in total.

  3. Grimoire - Whispers update has introduced new Tome weapon type and new unique tome mods. One of said mods is [Ris Invocation] which on Alt fire use adds 4% duration per enemy hit up to 15x stacks, granting maximum of 60% duration. It's pretty huge and a rather easy way of gaining more duration (not accounting for how hard these mods are to get)

-Efficiency / energy recovery:

If your adjusted build needs more efficiency or you want to make up for lack of it with better energy recover there's a bunch of options I can think of (and probably more that I cannot think of)

  1. Arcane Energize - Pretty common choice, your efficiency sucks and you want to get more energy faster? Energize gives 60% chance for energy orb to replenish 150 energy to you and allies within 15m radius with a cooldown of 15 seconds.

  2. Grimoire #1 - Yet again tome mod, this time its [Xata Invocation]. Alt fire provides 1 energy regen per second for each enemy hit, lasting 20 seconds and stacking up to 10 times.

  3. Grimoire #2 - Another tome option is [Netra Invocation] which grants Alt fire 4% ability efficiency per enemy hit, lasting 20 seconds and stacking up to 15x. It's pretty huge 60% efficiency.

  4. Yellow archon shards - Alternative to Energize Arcane. Each Normal shard provides 50% energy orb efficiency while Tau provides 75%. Although not as potent as Energize and for some people might be much higher investment, it can can completely replace energize as it has no cooldown, making every energy orb hold higher value.

  5. Dethcube - [Dethcube] has a neat [Energy Generator] ability which spawns energy orb for every 10 kill that [Dethcube] assisted with. This itself is quite an investment but its something you can use in different builds as well.

Exilus slot and Archon shards

Exilus slot is not something you have to fill but if you're intending to use it, you may require additional forma to use it due to capacity limit. Few of my recommendations would be

  • Sure footed or Primed Sure footed - 60 or 100% chance to resist knockdown which is very helpful in dealing with CC or explosive weapons.

  • Preparation - Because +100% max energy filled on spawn is never bad.

Everything else is rather niche but up to you what you run.

Aside from previously mentioned Archon shards that you may or may not use, those slots are free real estate, do whatever you want with them.
More weapon damage, more survivability, more energy, more duration. As long as its not Strength it's optional.

Closing thoughts

This is way longer than I initially intended it to be but as I kept writing I kept thinking of what else to add to make people's lives easier. It's a bit of a mess I think but I hope it's decent for my first (and maybe only) public build guide.
I hope at least one person finds it useful and decides to use it. Hope you very much enjoy it.
I also want to add this is my own unique build not inspired by anyone else as I rarely view other people's config. Any similarities to other people's builds are purely coincidental.
