Ami's Economically Friendly DiveBomb Bird (SP Tested)

With only one Forma and a single subsumed ability, we can turn [Zephyr] into a burst damage monster, thanks to the discovery of a long lost augment, [Target Fixation]. What we lose in team synergy from her Tornados, we get in return a 1 Cast (which costs only 17 energy), that can kill any enemy, at any level, given that you can maintain her upkeep.

What exactly does [Target Fixation] do? Well, every time you hit an enemy with [Zephyr]'s 1 (specifically we're looking at the divebomb version of the ability), she gets a stacking 100% damage. The caveat? This stacking damage is infinite. As long as you can stay off the ground and keep enemies in check, which Airburst and Turbulence already do a fantastic job of, you can achieve millions, even tens of millions of damage, with a 17 energy ability.

So, why do we need to get rid of Tornados? Simple answer, Grineer. Corrupt, Corpus, and Infested can die to two divebomb casts, and are easy to stack [Target Fixation] on. The Grineer, in comparison, have armor. A lot of it, too. So, the best solution is to bring Tharros Strike into the equation. With its 100% armor strip at 230% ability strength, we can Airburst a group of Grineer troops, strip with Tharros, and finish them off with a single divebomb like it's nothing.

So, now that we know how the build works, let's look into the actual mods. With this kind of setup, you can not double dip into a certain stat too much, or you lose that flexibility that Zephyr is so well-known for. Sure, I could invest into say, [Blind Rage], and possibly Add Arcane Arachne to achieve even more exponential damage, but we lose far too much ability efficiency. For reference, even at 90% efficiency, Turbulence costs 81 energy, which for me is too expensive of an investment. So, we use Molt Augment to accomplish an ability strength of 254% which furthermore lets us maintain the other ability stats. The two Augur mods allow for safe stat boosts, and the energy to shield conversion allows for [Zephyr] to shield gate in tight situations. [Boreal's Hatred] gives us some well needed DR while airborne, which is something we'll always be doing due to the previously mentioned augment [Target Fixation].

As for Archon Shards, I personally do not have many at the moment, but below I will show off my current setup:

Simple enough, More energy at the start, more energy overall, and just that little bit of extra duration so that way I'm not constantly using energy for Turbulence, allowing me to keep on the offensive with divebomb or stripping with Tharros.

So since this build already has a ton of CC and aoe damage, what can [Zephyr] do for an arsenal? Well, the only weapon I use is the [Nataruk]. A bow with devastating crit and status chance, and with [Zephyr]'s passive of 150% crit chance while airborne, I never not see red crits while using this beast of a bow. I'll also provide my build for [Nataruk] below, in case you want to give it a try as well. One thing to add is that I use [Carrier Prime] and its weapon. The reason I bring this up is because I use [Carrier]'s weapon as a stat stick with the Vigilante Mods, which add a percentage chance to enhance critical hits, which only keeps the fun going.

So, what's the strategy for this build? Cast 3 right before a fight for survivability, Cast 2 to group enemies, Cast 4 to armor strip if necessary, and Finally Cast 1's divebomb variant until you got a pile of bodies all nice and cozy. For Overguard/Eximus, Cast 4 to strip and use [Nataruk]'s Perfect Shot to make stupidly easy work of them.

And that's really it! This is my first build post so I hope you guys find some fun in this unique playstyle!

Much Love,
Ami.
