An ancient blade predating the fall of the Orokin Empire. Forged using techniques lost over the centuries, the edge remains sharper than that of any modern Nikana.

Nikana Prime 20k DPS | +Millions Red Critical Bleed DMG + Healing | Steel Path

21k DPS, Millions of Tier 3 Red Critical Slash's Bleed DMG!

Important: You need a Primer such as [Epitaph], [Bronco], Panzer, Sentinel, or Nourish for Viral. Priming is crucial DPS because Viral deals 100–325% bonus damage at 1–10 stacks, and it gives [Condition Overload] another 80% damage too. Together, Viral reliably gives about an Eclipse worth of damage. In this build, Life Strike is the most flexible slot; you can replace it with [Spring-Loaded Blade] for a 2m bonus range or [Primed Reach] for a 3m bonus range. Sacrificial Steel is the flexible slot for 55% Faction mods since SS is the equivalent of a 25% all-faction mod; it is almost the same damage as equipping 30% faction mods. Berserker's [Fury] can be replaced with Arcane Strike if you want to keep SS alongside your Faction mods.

Exilus and Arcane Note: This build originally costs 2 Forma; an additional 2 Forma are needed to fit in [Dreamer's Wrath], and if you have Melee Animosity too, then you will just wipe everything on heavy attacks. If you haven't obtained these yet, then you will unlock them once you complete the Whisper in the Walls quest and gain sufficient Cavia standing. Melee Arcanes such as Melee Exposure work well too, used in moderation with status weighting on Slash, and Melee Duplicate only functions in yellow critical and not in orange or red critical.

Min-Max: This build can become even more insane with Roar or Eclipse since the multiplicative damage double dips for twice the damage with the over-100% status chance bleed. Also, consider equipping [Xata]'s Whisper instead, so long as you are using a faction mod beforehand since faction mods quadruple dip inside void bubbles. This means that [Xata]'s Whisper with 30% faction mods is equivalent to a 60% Roar, and with 55% it is equivalent to an 110% Roar. Furthermore, you can consider equipping an Arcane Avenger and an [Adarza Kavat] to obtain Tier 4 Red Critical. Also, you can use a warframe ability that give out critical chance, or [Gladiator Vice] instead of [Life Strike], or even equip other Gladiator mods on your warframe to push this build into Tier 5 Red Crit Terrorism.

Flexible mods: First, read the last three sentences of my first paragraph 'important' if you skipped them. Next, if you don't use heavy strikes or simply lack amalgam mods, then you just use [Organ Shatter] instead of [Amalgam Organ Shatter]. If you use too many heavy attacks, then simply use [Reflex Coil] instead of [Life Strike]. This build is best paired with Narmon, [Swift Momentum], or Dexterity Arcanes for combo duration, but if you feel you need it, then replace [Life Strike] with [Drifting Contact] or [Gladiator Rush]. The stance mod is up to you; I feel it's a visual thing, so use whatever you have an easier time hitting the enemy with.

Final Suggestion: Ideally paired with Arcane Strike, Arcane [Fury], or Arcane Avenger for maximum DPS, if you have to make a choice, then Arcane Strike is better than Arcane [Fury] if you are priming [Condition Overload] Stacks. Arcane Avenger is better than Arcane Strike if you already have some attack speed; without any attack speed, Arcane Strike is better than Arcane Avenger.

Or you can look for some Nourish builds.

Enjoy :)

Disclaimer: Nourish works very well in low to medium Strength warframes, a bit similar to Xata's Whisper in that regard. In non-armor strip warframes, it is very good when paired with [Hunter Munitions] regardless of Strenght values. When it comes to other mods such as [Internal Bleeding], [Hemorrhage], and other status DOTs such as Heat if the viral weighting isn't too high. Typically speaking, you can clear the entirety of base Steel Path without any faction mods, just by using a neutral-to-high-strength Nourish with corrosive heat weapons. The exception to high STR Nourish being worse than Roar is that unless you have a 100% Armor Strip equipped to make every enemy health bar red, only then does a high STR Nourish become better than subsumed high STR Roar and Eclipse builds out there due to its high Viral damage multiplier. Also, you can just use it for the energy economy, it is very amazing in that it opens mod slots that wouldn't normally be possible.
