Advantages:

• High Shield capacity.
• Various ways of protection (Shields + Adaptation + Mesmer Skin).
• Various instances of Crowd Control (Enthrall, Energy pylons from fallen Thralls, Mesmer Skin's stun).
• High duration of Crowd Control abilities.
• Normal Energy Efficiency, provides more versatile use of abilities.
• More efficient Danse Macabre's energy consumption.
• More chances that a various Negative Status effects will apply without much danger to Health's exposure, thus giving a chance to transfer them on the enemies with the use of Reave ability.
• 90% damage reduction to Health and Shields on specific damage type (when Adaptation is active).
