A perfectly crafted pairing, this mace and shield combination is sculpted for exhibition but balanced for the battlefield.

Nature's Protector | Silva & Aegis Prime

Video in Making

Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over the Silva & Aegis Prime, Nature's Protector.

Weapon Information

Comparison to the Original Silva & Aegis

The Silva & Aegis Prime has a few buffs when compared to the original Silva & Aegis. These stats would be:

  • Higher Base Damage at 318.0 Vs. 98.0

  • Higher Critical Chance at 25% Vs. 5%

  • Higher Critical Multiplier at 2.5x Vs. 1.5x

  • Higher Status Chance at 30% Vs. 20%

  • Lower Attack Speed at 0.75 Vs. 1.00

Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • High Critical Chance at 25%

  • Very High Status Chance at 30%

  • Shield Bashes have a guaranteed Impact Proc

  • Blocking attacks stores a charge that additively increases Critical and Status Chance up to 60% on the next attack.

Disadvantages:

  • Slow Attack Speed at 0.75

Builds

Corpus: Total Damage - | Average Hit - | Sustained DPS - | Tested up to Level 150 at Max Stacks

The Elements for the Silva & Aegis Prime against the Corpus will be Viral/Radiation. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. Meanwhile, Radiation causes enemies to attack each other while dealing 100% additional damage to the allied for 12 seconds and can stack up to 10 times for a total of 550%. The Build's Flex Slot is [Shocking Touch] or Berserker and is perfect. This weapon absolutely decimates Corpus enemies like they are nothing. Even Armored or Robotic enemies don't stand a chance due to the combination of Viral/Radiation. Also it is fun to send enemies flying by shield bashing them.

Corrupted & Grineer: Total Damage - 838.9 | Average Hit - 22,642.2 | Sustained DPS - 22,642.2 | Tested up to Level 150 at Max Stacks

The Elements for the Silva & Aegis Prime against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral/Heat. Heat deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds while stripping up to 50% armor and causes targets to panic. The Build's Flex Slot is Gladiator Might and surprisingly works well. Considering this is mainly a Status Weapon I thought Corrosive/Heat would work due to the Higher Base Damage. However, through the utilization of the [Final Harbinger] Stance the player can easily use Slash Procs to help fight through Armor mixed with extremely hard Impact Procs.

Infested: Total Damage - | Average Hit - | Sustained DPS - | Tested up to Level 150 at Max Stacks

The Element for the [Silva & Aegis Prime] against the Infested will be Gas. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3 meter radius and stacks up to 10 times to a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slot is Gladiator Might and works great. Gas does much better than Viral/Heat due to how much status it can lay out and its already High Base Damage. If you really don't like using Gas than I would suggest going Viral/Heat, but I really suggest Gas. Plus, it is fun to watch the infested run into a Gas cloud for 200,000 Plus tick damage.

Recommended Alternative Modifications

  • Bonus Flex Slot - In which Berserker can be replaced in all the Builds if the player wants to utilize the use of Arcane Strike.

  • Fever Strike - In place of its Primed Counterpart if you don't have it.

  • Amalgam Organ Shatter - In place of Organ Shatter if you use Heavy Attacks and are okay with losing 5% Critical Damage.

  • (Primed) Reach - In place of The Build's Flex Slot if you want more range on the weapon.

  • (Primed) Faction Mods - In place of The Build's Flex Slot to help increase damage against a specific faction.

  • Sacrificial Pressure - In place of Primed Pressure Point to further increase damage in the Guarding Heavy Attack Build Set. This will cost one more "V" Forma however.

  • Drifting Contact - In place of The Build's Flex Slot for helping with Combo Duration If you don't have Naroman focus or can't handle the combo chain duration.

  • Gladiator Rush - In place of The Build's Flex Slot for helping with Combo Duration If you don't have Naroman focus or can't handle the combo chain duration.

Synergy with Silva & Aegis Prime

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

  • Valkyr's Warcry bolsters attack speed, in turn increasing DPS.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

  • Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

  • Volt's Speed bolsters Attack Speed, in turn increasing DPS.

  • Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give a 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Strike - On Hit, 15% chance for 60% Attack Speed to Melee Weapons for 18 seconds.

  • Arcane Fury - On Critical Hit, 60% chance for 180% Melee Damage to Melee Weapons for 18 seconds.

  • Arcane Blade Charger - On Primary Weapon Kill, 30% chance for 300% Melee Damage for 12 seconds.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be the Build's said Flex Slot previously discussed and costs 1 more Forma. In order to maximize Damage Output with the Silva & Aegis Prime, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. These Ideal Stats would be:

  • Higher Average Damage - For Higher Average Damage the stats would be; Melee Damage, Critical Damage, Critical Chance, and Negative Finisher Damage.

  • Higher Sustained DPS - For Higher Sustained DPS the stats would be; Melee Damage, Critical Damage, Attack Speed, and Negative Finisher Damage.
