META [Nidus] build, able to cut thru endgame content.
Concept: fast gameplay.
Negative duration + [Larva Burst]: You don't need duration on Nidus. Spending energy on Virulence (1), hitting less than 4 enemies are being grabbed, is stupid. I have found out 73-85% duration is the best. You want to have full control over [Nidus] Larva (2), and recast Larva when you need it, not when it's duration ends, so [Larva Burst] is a must.
[Natural Talent] makes your [Nidus] cast abilities faster. It cant be replaced with [Teeming Virulence], to boost your Primary weapon by 120% crit chance. Do as you please. I use both. Natural Talent however is more helpful if you play Steel Path and can't afford standing in one place for long.
Efficiency - 100% is sufficient. I can't play Nidus with negative efficiency. 100% is perfectly doable.
Range - more is better, but be careful with Overextended. 3/5 is best in my experience or you will loose too much Strengh and Damage reduction.
Strength - 200% is a bit overkill, about 185% is enough for 90% damage reduction with Parasitic Link (3). However if I'm using Umbral Intensify, and course I have maxed it.
Umbra mods - surely not everyone is as dedicated to Nidus as I am. Replace those with regular mods, if that's all you have.
Arcanes - for [Nidus], I choose arcanes that boost my weapons.
1) Primary: Arcane [Rage] (+180% dmg) + Arcane Acceleration (+90% Fire rate) + [Teeming Virulence] as option. I main [Fulmin].
2) Secondary: Arcane Precision ( +300% dmg) + Arcane Velocity 120% Fire rate)
3) Melee: Arcane [Fury] (+180% dmg) + Arcane Stike (+60% Attack speed). Hitting [Nidus] Larva (2) with melee stacks Combo multiplier like crazy, so... make sure you have a riven with Damage and Combo duration on it.
