INTRODUCTION
Hello, I bring this to anyone who wants to play with [Zephyr] in a different way, this build will focus the playstyle on staying in the air 99% of the time by only gliding, because being on the ground with [Zephyr] is boring.
Since I noticed some mods can [Extend] the gliding, reduce knockback chance, and damage while airborne, and even reduce gravity, I tried some of them with [Zephyr] in addition to her passive abilities and some guns, the result is entertaining.
BUILD
In summary with this build all the buffs are granted while gliding: knockback inmunity, damage resistance, [Zephyr]'s passive crit chance, more crit and status chance when returning to the ground, and around 10 seconds gliding at zero gravity with high speed.
So basically you must stay in the air or you'll be very vulnerable on the ground.
The palystyle focuses on do damage using Tornado and Airburst with the enemies, and for self-defense Turbulence, all while airborne.
The air movement with Zephyr is easy to control, as you can change momentum direction with an instantaneous air-slide, jump from walls o use melee attacks.
Weapons
You will need a primary Shotgun and a polearm Zaw melee for this build to work.
The Shotgun I use is Tenet Arca Plasmor. Which in my opinion is one of the best shotguns to hit [Zephyr]'s Tornado and multiple enemies on the way.
My polearm Zaw was made with Plague Kripath, Kroostra and Vargeet II Jai to have a high crit chance, and the arcane Exodia Contagion to throw explosive projectiles from the air.
Motus mods
The complete set is for knockback inmunity while in the air, you could just use Primed Sure Footed but as I said, we will stay in the air all the time as possible, without using Tailwind hold, only gliding with these mods and get some extra buffs.
Motus Signal (For Warframe): This will improve Zephyr jump to a higher distance to get away from enemies fast without bullet-jumping in the process. Bullet jump will be used to get gliding momentum.
Motus Setup (For Shotgun): After landing from a double jump os bullet jump, this will grant +%100 crit and status chance to the weapon.
Motus Impact (For the Zaw): This adds more range to the melee, you can do slide attacks while gliding many times to hit the Tornadoes if you want but this mod is essential to complete the set.
Boreal mods
This set is for damage reduction in addition to the Aura mod Aerodynamic.
Boreal's Anguish (For Warframe): We'll get more gliding duration and gravity reduction.
Boreal's Hatred (For Warframe): Extra shields and a bit of energy efficiency.
Boreal's Contempt (For the Zaw): More melee damage and extra for status damage.
Build specifics (and recommended Archon shards)
Archon mods
The use of archon mods is very helpful as your weapons or teammates weapons can deal status damage to the Tornadoes, as the archon mods require ability kill with specific status type to activate the bonus perk, this won't be happening all the time but is a way to take a bit a of advantage.
Duration
To increase the duration of Turbulence (Defense against projectiles), Airburst, Tornadoes, and also Tailwind, I use Archon Continuity.
I'd recommend use 2 Tauforged Crimson Archon Shard with ability duration.
And for extra duration (+36%) use Molt Efficiency.
Range
Usefull for Airbust to grab enemies and bring them to the Tornadoes range, I use Archon Strech, Augur Reach and Overextended.
School Focus
Use Zenurik to have an energy source.
Glide
To enhance the gliding use Aero Vantage for Zero gravity. If you don't like this as Boreal's Anguish is already in the build but in a reduced way, you can replace it by any other mod you want.
To enhance the speed before gliding using bullet-jump or air-sliding I'd recommend 3 Tauforged Amber Archon Shards 2 with parkour velocity to get a better momentum a 1 with casting speed.
This was my build and also works for Steel Path. I know it's not the best build you'll find to release the full potential of the Weapons or the Warframe but I wanted to share it anyway. Hope you enjoy your new flying [Zephyr].
