Halo's Citrine Build for All Content

Hey, it's Halo here, giving you my personal Citrine build that works in just about all forms of content.

I am altering the build here, to keep up-to-date with what I use with her, no major changes, just Nourish instead of Terrify, and dumping Umbral Intensify for Rolling Guard, the 60-Eyes Assassination boss has taught me well that RGuard is indeed great to have, and strength can just be upticked with the usage of Molt Augmented. So Energize is out, and Molt Augmented is also in now!

The Build's Usage: Anything and everything.

The Helminth: Terrify beats out Crystallize's CD boost and crowd control by sheer crowd control of its own and 100% armor stripping enemies. If anyone says that her 4 is better than Terrify, basically never listen to them for build advice. Full armor strip is incredibly better than crit damage buff. In the end, use what you like, I also find Nourish to be quite handy on her, especially for using her 2 to kill enemies for fun.

Nourish has its usage case: free viral on your weps, free viral for your teammates, any and all energy sources give that nice multiplied energy value to you and teammates, and anything that touches you gets staggered and afflicted by viral.

If anyone ever tells you to remove her 3, they also never used her and don't know how well it works in conjunction with the archon mods and [Condition Overload], as well as the GalvaApt mods for your guns.

Application: Use her 1 to prime some enemies, kill them, then use your 2 to have the damage reduction in place for yourself and allies, then choose to utilize your 3 and 4 whenever needed. Upkeep your energy [Flow] with the usage of her 1 for just endless amounts of energy and health orbs. Her 2 borderline makes [Rolling Guard] and [Adaptation] obsolete on her, hence why I do not use them. It's up to you whether or not you want to use those crutch mods on her, but she really doesn't need them.

Mods:
Brief Respite: Used for Shield-Gating purposes in case your 3 is not up
Archon Conty, [Stretch], and [Flow]: Used just like the normal variants, but due to how [Citrine]'s 2 works, you get these buffs for free as long as you hit an enemy!
[Blind Rage]: Because strength is pivotal on her as is. Energy isn't a problem with the use of her 1, so efficiency can be thrown out the window.
[Overextended]: Range is always great to have for all of her abilities, except her 2, that's based off of affinity range.
[Augur Secrets] and [Reach]: Extra strength and range provided by the benefits of extra shields gained via ability usage.
[Rolling Guard]: Self explanatory, roll to clear any unwanted status effects from yourself.
[Primed Sure Footed]: Self explanatory

Changes: You can swap off [Augur Secrets] even for the use of [Transient Fortitude] without losing [Umbral Intensify], but that would require using more forma. You could also include the usage of Archon Vitality for that sweet heat procs to make her 2 become a damage-dealing machine, but that can be saved for another build in a different config for such a playstyle. I definitely recommend trying all 4 archon mods on her for that build. She can also benefit greatly from [Equilibrium], but it's not completely needed.

Arcanes:
Molt Augmented: At 200 kills, you give yourself an extra 60% Strength permanently as long as you do not force-revive yourself! Better than running Umbral Intensify.
Molt Efficiency: Also self explanatory - Have shields up? You get a 36% duration increase, doesn't matter how much shields.
You can still run Arcane Energize if you so choose, but that is not needed if you have Nourish on, and well, using her 1 on enemies.

Archon Shards: Personal Choices are as follows - Two Tau Yellows, Two Tau Greens, and a Tau Red: Tau Yellows are for Energy orb efficiency and casting speed. The Tau Red is for Duration, can't get enough of it! And the tau greens I use for corrosive stacks (Not recommended at all) just to make life easier.

[Citrine] has easily become one of my newest most used frames since her release, still behind [Nidus Prime], but she now has a staple place in my heart for the usage in normal missions, Steel Path content, Arbitrations, and just about anything of the sort.

I highly recommend her for anyone who's not acquired her yet, as well as hope that when you do get her, you'll enjoy her just as much as I have.
