This is intended to be a self-contained weapon, meaning it can be used standalone without any other conditions.

[Amalgam Serration] and [Hunter Munitions] pair well with Primary Merciless; the former provides upfront damage to get the weapon going, and the latter is good to keep up the stacks. Despite only a 22.5% slash chance given the current crit chance at 75%, the raw damage output helps to patch up the gaps in crit.

Optionally, 105% crit chance is possible, at the cost of swapping Primary Merciless with Primary Dexterity and doubling up as a Viral primer. This might not be terribly reliable since status chance is only at 31%, and the upfront Damage from [Amalgam Serration] (plus the [Sprint Boost]) is lost. However, there's definitely opportunity to make up for the losses with the [Kuva Zarr]'s high crit damage. In case headshot kills are accidentally scored, the crit chance could shoot up to 155%.

Armorstrip works wonders, especially since this isn't a forced slash weapon; sometimes raw Viral damage will be necessary, especially in higher level situations like later stages of The Circuit.
