Simple (but High Powered) Umbral Nidus Tank with 15.9k EHP - Now with Gloom!

Simple (but advanced) build for [Nidus Prime]. In my opinion, [Nidus] doesn't really need any of the augments, range, or duration. Adding range, in fact, will increase the pull of larva, but make your Virulence take longer to cast again. I opted for Primed Sure Footed to keep from being staggered/knocked down, but if you don't have that, you can use regular Sure Footed, or use Cunning/Power drift, although the boost is minimal.

  • Armored Agility is an armor-based option slot. I'm using Agility because I like to go faster, but any of the Carapace mods would work well too, giving even more armor and some more HP.
  • At max stacks, Virulence will be doing 43,200 damage.
  • If you replace [Augur Secrets] with [Augur Reach] to add more range to larva, Virulence will do 38,400 at max stacks. Maybe worth it, maybe not.

Gloom is an excellent ability for [Nidus] (replace his 4, which is very inferior for healing), especially with high power strength, because you'll increase your regeneration even more and slow down enemies (76%!) for easier lining up for Virulence.
