This build takes advantage of [Akjagara Prime]'s ridiculously high slash weighting.

The viral slash combination will easily rip through your enemies.

Don't be deceived by the low On-Paper dps, as overframe does not account for DOT damage which is where this Akjagara Build dishes out its hurt.

Why Low Rank status mods?

• Viral damage is capped at 10 stacks.
• Due to Akjagara's unique semi-auto burst, every trigger pull instantly fires twice (that means 2x the multishot per press at the cost of 2 bullets).

  This gimmick coupled with [Akjagara]'s high status chance means you will be proc'ing an average of 4.4 status per mouse click.
  From my tests, it's more beneficial to have slash status proc more frequently than it is to cap out viral.

I don't like Expel Mods... can I use something else?

Due to the way Slash damage is calculated (faction mods are double dipped), weapons that are built to be reliant on Slash procs as it's main source of damage should ALWAYS include a bane mod.

The increase in slash damage is approximately as follows:

• Normal Expel Mod: 1.3 x 1.3 = 1.69x
• Primed Expel: 1.55 x 1.55 = 2.45x
  Alternatively, frames with the skill Roar on them will also benefit from this double dipping due to Roar being coded as faction damage.

Flex Slot / Riven Stats

Sharpened Rounds is our wildcard on this build should you decide to use a riven or a quality of life mod instead.

Recommended Riven Stats (Theoretical):

Multishot > Critical Damage > Critical Chance > Damage

Additional Notes:

• As this build does not use any base damage mods, you'll find that the damage is a bit lacking until you have made a couple successive kills. Once the damage stacks have ramped up, the Slash procs will tear through your enemies with just 1-2 headshots.
