Saryn the (Armor) Stripper - General Use / Endurance Runs

  • [Brief Respite] = For shield gating, followed by Augur Reach, helps replenish shields reliably. Take note that Ability Efficiency is at 100%.

  • Arcane Barrier = Also helps with replenishing shields just in case you'd need it.

  • [Intensify] + [Power Drift] (145%) = Increases the effectiveness of Spores, Toxic Lash and Venom Dose. Indirectly buffs Miasma as well by lessening TTK for enemies affected with Spores.

  • [Primed Continuity] (155%) % [Primed Flow] (850)= Increases the duration of Miasma, Toxic Lash, Venom Dose, and Warcry, which helps lessen energy consumption although we have a lot to spare since we have Primed Flow.

  • [Augur Reach] + [Stretch] (175%) = Range has to be [Saryn]'s most important asset and having this much range enables Spores to be spread easily while also ensuring Miasma affects a lot of targets. Warcry's range of 43 meters is pretty enough to be able to buff allies even if you're far from them.

  • [Rolling Guard] + [Adaptation] + Arcane [Guardian] + Warcry = Tons of damage reduction which makes our EHP at around 2.3k. All these are for [Saryn]'s survivability. The best part about Molt is the 3 sec invulnerability and status cleanse which we get from [Rolling Guard]. Having Warcry gives her more survivability in the form of additional armor and it also buffs her melee attack speed while slowing down enemies which, IMO, is a much better tool to have in her kit than leaving a decoy that just gets one shot at higher levels and deals minute Toxin damage. The 100% status chance isn't even worth it. If the decoy dealt Viral damage instead then we can talk.

  • Remember that this build is meant for general use while making it viable for endurance runs and also making sure Saryn is still effective at being Saryn and that is stripping the enemy's armor and not just brain-dead spamming 4.

  • [Steel Charge] can be put in the Aura slot but if you already have [Condition Overload] (CO) in your melee, then it's kind of pointess. Especially when we consider the fact that we'd already be having tons of status procs with Saryn's abilities alone. Add those to the procs of your primary/secondary and the buff from CO is alreary enough.

  • [Revealing Spores] can be put in the Exilus slot for the additional utility or QoL. But if your companion already has [Animal Instinct], there's really no need to put in this Augment. Contagion Cloud is also viable especially if you have a zaw with Exodia Hunt installed on it.

  • Loadout for this Saryn build includes Proboscis Cernos, Kuva Nukor (Melee Primer), Nikana Prime / [Sepfahn] Zaw, and [Carrier Prime]. I am more of a melee player which is why my [Kuva Nukor] is focused on status procs to prime CO. That said, the [Proboscis Cernos] not only pops Spores from afar with Toxic Lash but is also built for damage and can take out level 120 Corrupted Heavy Gunners in 2 or 3 shots. Strong primary weapon which acts kind of like [Nidus]' Larva and when enemies are pulled, melee attacking them before the arrow explodes gives you an instant boost to your melee combo multiplier. I'll probably put up my builds for the weapons and sentinel if I have the time, but the builds I have for them follow the same theme that the builds here have albeit molded for my liking.
