[Volt] has a balanced kit capable of dealing with various form of content. This build attempts to abuse multiple aspects of hit kit while not completely sacrificing any of them. We subsume an armor stripping ability to cover his weakness against armor but almost any ability works with his kit.

Fire Blast is chosen because it doesn't need a lot of ability strength to strip a significant amount of armor. Breach Surge can significantly increase your damage against unarmored enemies. Ensnare can help you to wrangle enemies for quick melee kills.

Shock is replaced as it's the weakest ability even with it's synergies with Electric Shield and Discharge. Discharge can be replaced if you're not running [Capacitance] or want to use a cheaper ability for CC.

[Enemy Radar] mods help you and your team to find enemies. They can be replaced with anything else to suit your playstyle.

Range is the only stat with a lot of investment. Other stats are kept a little above the baseline. Depending on what ability you're focusing on you should increase Duration for Speed or Electric Shield and Strength for Discharge.

[Streamline] is a flex mod that can be swapped with anything that fits into the polarity plan.

[Capacitance] fills the role of all your survivability mods due to shield gating and possible raw health tanking if you use [Adaptation]. Replacing it can have a significant impact on your general survival so be ready to use your operator mode more often.

Arcane Aegis combines with [Volt]'s general focus on shields to give you near invincibility when it procs. It can be replaced with any arcane that suits your playstyle.
