Khora's "Get over here!" Build

With 280% range, her Ensnare and Strangledome can yank multiple enemies from 2.8x the normal distance away. This then locks them up from any actions, meaning you can unload your weapon into them; and since they're all bunched up together, explosive weapons like the [Kuva Bramma], [Lenz] or arcing weapons like the [Amprex] work really well.

[Energy Siphon] should help offset the cost of the whipclaw and ensnare. Combine with Energy Pulse (Zenurik) to get additional energy.

NOTE: This build sacrifices ability duration for range

Using Ensnare then Whipclaw'ing the enemies will proc [Accumulating Whipclaw] if you manage to hit >3 enemies (and if you've Ensnared first, you probably will have). Plus if you have been able to rack up a combo counter using a Blood Rush/Berserker/Gladiator modded melee weapon, Whipclaw can turn into Red Crits. See my Berserker Magistar build for an example (the build setup works on any melee)

Whipclaw will also refresh Ensnare, allowing you to pull more mobs into the trap, letting you proc [Accumulating Whipclaw] again. And again. And again, as long as you have energy. And if you don't, then using an Amprex with Viral + Slash will make short work of them.

You can swap out Blind Rage for any ability modification mods -- [Intensify], [Continuity], or a combination like [Narrow Minded], Consitution, [Energy Conversion], etc.

TIPS:

  • Strangledome is also a good way to [Protect] things like Excavators and defence objectives as any enemies caught by Strangledome will take the aggro of the surrounding enemies. This is great also when you have bullet sponges like Heavy Gunners, Bombards, Nox, or Ancients. Beware of enemies who can [Negate] abilities, however, (like Nullfiiers). This tactic is great for Mobile Defense missions and will work on all missions even up to Sortie level. Strangledome will not pickup certain enemies like Kuva Lich or its Thralls.

  • Use [Pilfering Strangledome] on Excavation missions, the additional drop chance will sometimes cause power orb holders to drop TWO orbs on death, making it easier to top up excavators.

  • Swap out [Accumulating Whipclaw] for [Pilfering Strangledome] if you're doing a Mobile Defense to increase the chance of additional drops

  • Use Ensnare on a Demolist in Disruption mode. It'll lock them up and you (and your team) can rip into them without them moving. If they pulse the nullifier wave or the ensnare wears off, hit them with Ensnare again, and repeat until they die.

WARNING:

Using Strangledome at 280% around a defense target CAN cause enemies to clip into walls, making it impossible for your teammates to kill them. You can attack them via whipclaw, however.

It can also cause enemies to be yanked BELOW the defense target in maps where the defense target is elevated around the surrounding area, or there are stairs.
