A WIP Gauss Build

Mmmmm, delicious 2.18 sprint speed.

Redline is kinda wack. Everything you'd expect to scale with strength scales with duration, and it's one of the few abilities that can be too good; by which I mean, it can be very easy to accrue so much fire rate that a weapon's recoil becomes monstrous, or burns through ammo at an unsustainable rate. ~200% duration is my attempt to find a happy medium.

This is maximum range without using a corrupted mod or the exilus mod slot. Mostly for Silence; but it is convenient to more easily refresh [Thermal Transfer]. With a different Helminth, these mod slots would likely be strength.

I'm somewhat concerned about only 30% efficiency on a build that will sometimes want to spam Thermal Sunder, but every other ability is only cast once per minute. I'm counting on Kinetic Plating to keep up; if it does not, [Thermal Transfer] should probably be dropped for [Nira's Hatred].

Against the Corpus, I trust Kinetic Plating to keep us standing, especially with Silence active. Rolling Guard is a good backup, but toxic eximi will just straight-up kill you.

The last mod slot goes to [Thermal Transfer], because I did not know what to do with it. I don't value Strength above 100% on any of these abilities (though ironically, it would be nice paired with [Thermal Transfer]). It's a flex slot. I didn't feel the build needed anything more upon reaching the arcanes, either (Energize to prop up the energy economy?), so they're generic, easily-procced damage buffs.

I like Silence because it solves a lot of the annoying things eximus units do, but Fire Walker would be more fun in less challenging missions.
