Gauss "Fast & Fun" Prime

Hello there,

Introduction:

Engines ready for ignition. Coolant circulation systems online. Ready, set, GO!
He blinked like a spark, and no one saw him again. He's fast as F boi.

Playstyle:

  • always have active Kinetic Plating, no matter what
  • always move, never stand still... you got the battery to charge
  • charge your battery by moving, by using your abilities, up to 80%
  • activate Redline and release your battery limit to 100%, gain fire rate buff, attack speed buff, reload speed buff, casting speed buff, energy discount for Mach [Rush], melee damage bonus and stagger chance for Kinetic Plating, 100% Cold freeze chance and Heat ignite chance for Thermal Sunder, ≤100% enemy armor reduction for Thermal Sunder

Attributes & Abilities:

  • Duration: in almost all situation you want and need high Duration, this stat. determines how often you will reactivate Kinetic Plating and Redline, it also has a positive effect on the Duration of the Cold and Heat statuses from the Thermal Sunder skill (although this is of little importance).
  • Efficiency: just try not to go into negative and all will be good.
  • Range: important mostly for your Thermal Sunder initial radius, which quickly shrinks to a final radius.
  • Strength: despite what the wiki writes, [Gauss] does not require any amount of Strength, you can easily stay at 100%, the important thing is not to go below that, because you will have a problem staying alive. In fact, probably the only skill that really requires Strength to do anything more is Thermal Sunder.

Personal preference: use 5x Amber Archon Shards, 3x +50% (+75%) Effectiveness on Energy Orbs, 2x +25% (+37.5%) Casting Speed.

Alternative builds:

Thermal Sunder build (with Pillage):

In this configuration I strongly focused on Strength (up to 328%), and Range, obviously to hit hard and to hit as many enemies as possible in one cast of Thermal Sunder ability. Build tested on SP Circuit, melted literally every level, every enemy.

Thermal Sunder build requested of some offended ass.

Spammable build for the diehards TS enjoyers.

PS. don't handicap [Gauss] by giving him 40% Strength.
Using Molt Augmented you will make up for that 60% loss in Strength... at the expense of your own health.
Strength reduced to 40% at the start, you limit the Kinetic Plating skill to a measly 8%!!!, where with the battery charged to 100%, you only have 40% Damage Reduction. Yes... after 250+ kills, you have 100% Strength... but what if you fall off the map, what if you die, what if the game decides to teleport you and takes all your stacks? I could give more such examples, but I hope you understand why doing Gauss at 40% Strength is simply bad.

Weapon Platform build (with Energized Munitions/Eclipse):

The main focus in this configuration is Duration, because here you want your abilities to last as long as possible, you don't care about anything else.

I'm fast as F boi build:

Somehow meme build, to make you fast as F boi, without any external buffs (if you get any from someone else, I don't know if you will able to see anything in front of you).

Suggested Aura Mod:

For best results use Aura Forma, so that it can be changed, when needed.

Suggested Exilus Mod:

Must be unlocked with an Exilus Adapter.

  • NONE - if there is no such need, then there is no point in unlocking the slot.
  • Coaction Drift - Increases an Aura's strength and effectiveness.
  • Cunning Drift - Increases slide, reduces friction and increases Ability Range.
  • Endurance Drift - Increases Maximum Energy and parkour velocity.
  • Enemy Sense - Displays all enemies within its radius with red markers on the mini-map.
  • Handspring - Speeds up a Warframe's knock-down recovery rate.
  • Pain Threshold - Increases the stagger recovery of your Warframe.
  • Power Drift - Increases Ability Strength and grants a chance to resist knockdown.
  • Rush - Increases the speed at which a Warframe moves while sprinting.
  • Speed Drift - Increases sprint speed and casting speed.
  • Stealth Drift - Increases enemy detection on the mini-map and Aim Glide and Wall Latch time.
  • Sure Footed - Increases a Warframe's chance to resist knockdown.
    Primed Sure Footed is exclusive to the Daily Tribute system. It will become available at first at day 400. TAKE IT!!!
  • Synth Reflex - Increases weapon holster speed.

Suggested Warframe Arcane Enhancements (Max Rank Description):

  • Arcane Agility - On Damaged, 60% chance for +60% Parkour Velocity for 18s.
  • Arcane Avenger - On Damaged, 21% chance for +45% Critical Chance for 12s.
  • Arcane Consequence - On Headshot, +60% Parkour Velocity for 18s.
  • Arcane Energize - On Energy Pickup, 60% chance to replenish 150 Energy to self and allies within 15m. 15s cooldown.
  • Arcane Eruption - On Energy Pickup, 100% chance to Knockdown nearby enemies.
  • Arcane Nullifier - Passive, +102% chance to resist a Magnetic Damage effect.
  • Arcane Pistoleer - On Pistol Headshot Kill, 60% chance for +102% Ammo Efficiency for 12s.
  • Arcane Steadfast - On Ability Cast, 20% chance that the next 3 Abilities will not cost Energy.
  • Molt Augmented - On Kill, +0.24% Ability Strength. Stacks up to 250x.
  • Molt Efficiency - While Shields are Active, Gain 6% Ability Duration per second, up to a maximum of 36%.
  • Molt Vigor - On Operator Ability, 45% Ability Strength on next Warframe Ability Cast.

  • Madurai:
    Power Transfer - 50% Casting Speed on switching to Warframe.
    Sling Strength - Switching to Warframe after a Chained Sling adds 40% Ability Strength for 20s.
  • Vazarin:
    Void Snare - Ability launches a projectile that spins up a vortex trap on impact, or tap 2 again to detonate in-flight. Trap lasts 8s.
    Protective Sling - Allies touched by Void Sling are granted immunity from damage for 5s and healed 60% over 5s for 10 energy cost.
  • Naramon:
    Power Spike - Melee Combo Counter now decays while out of combat by 5 every few seconds, instead of depleting completely.
  • Unairu:
    Poise - Gain immunity to slow, stagger, and knockdown effects for 40s after transferring between Operator or Warframe.
    Magnetic Flare - Use your first Ability to create a 8m radius field that lasts for 30s and disables the shields of any enemy that enters it.
    Caustic Strike - Second Ability launches an energy bomb that explodes with a 8m radius, stripping 100% of enemy armor. Tap 2 again to detonate in-flight.
  • Zenurik:
    Energy Pulse - Energy pickups grant 50 % additional energy over 5s.
    Wellspring - First Ability creates a well of energy for 8s. Allies passing through the well gain 5 Energy/s for 30s. Use your first Ability inside a Wellspring to increase its size, boost its duration by 20s, and grant 20% Ability Strength to those inside.
    Temporal Drag - Second Ability emits a radial burst, slowing any enemy it touches by 80% for 10s.

Summary:

[Gauss Prime]... for some it's another reason to argue about which Warframe is the fastest, for others it's a perfect platform for quick play with all kinds of weapons, for others it's a reason to spend part of their salary, and for my wonderful anti-fans, another reason to relieve yourself in the comments below my build. I hope you get the mega diarrhea :)

The above builds are designed to work and give you fun, without strapping your buttocks on some meaningless level cap. But of course, you can do level cap with my builds.
