Testing Update: His augment [Elemental Sandstorm] now adds 50% (static) range and 100% (scales with Ability Strength) status chance based on his equipped melee. This is only affected by element mods and natural weighting. Based on my testing, damage mods, critical mods, and status chance/duration mods STILL DO NOTHING for this; only Element mods and IPS mods are important. If you want a Sandstorm-based build with damage, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ThatGuyTK's Inaros Rework Build My build's polarity will work with his with a little rearranging: [Augur Message] instead of [Constitution], ditching [Cunning Drift], putting [Elemental Sandstorm] on the Umbra slot, etc.

Build Info: This is designed for a comfy [Inaros] with a mix between his new reworked abilities and capabilities of most of Warframe's content. I have tested this everywhere except SP levelcap (there is no way to effectively bring Inaros to levelcap without Vazarin OR maybe a Sandstorm-based build). Gloom is the main highlight for Disruption and boss hunting. Archon Hunts? Netracells? Duviri SP? You got it. (Deep Archimedea to be released)

IMPORTANT: >=2x EMERALD ARCHON SHARDS ARE IMPORTANT FOR HIS NEW 4th ABILITY ARMOR STRIPPING

STATS:

  • Duration: Most important one, allows your 4's armor stripping to last longer and lowers Gloom energy drain
  • Strength: Only second most important; does not affect his 4's status chance like Saryn but affects 2's lifesteal and Gloom's slow factor
  • Range: Third most important when running Gloom. 23m is still decent while allowing some enemies to hit [Inaros] for Hunter Adrenaline. His 2's grouping and 4's area are also affected; I don't recommend going too high with this one (maybe 190 max)
  • Efficiency: Keep near 100%

ALTERNATIVES AND ADJUSTMENTS:

  • Replace Primed Flow with Augur Reach, Augur Message, Augur Secrets, Nira's Hatred, or Amar's Hatred
  • Replace Hunter Adrenaline with Streamline if you prefer running Arcane Energize over Arcane Guardian
  • Replace Arcane [Guardian] with any other arcane of your choice; triple Umbra + 177% Strength on his Scarab Armor gets you ~1200

FAQ:

  1. To Triple Umbra? Or not to Triple Umbra?

    If you use Arcane [Guardian], the DR you get from more armor will start to diminish (300+900=1200 is 80% DR to HP without Umbral Fiber and Scarab Armor while 672+900=1572 with Umbral Fiber bumps you up to only 83-84% DR in comparison). If you are willing to [Sacrifice] the Exilus Slot OR use an Umbral Forma for more mod capacity, you get +22% more Ability Strength and double the base EHR by using [Umbral Fiber].

  2. Exilus?

    While [Inaros]'s new Scarab Armor (his 3) is active, he is immune to status effects including knockdowns. We don't necessarily need [Primed Sure Footed] or [Handspring] for this one. [Coaction Drift] does not work with Growing Power. I recommend using Cunning Drift.

  3. Why Growing Power?

    Corrosive Projection does not quicken Corrosive stacks full-strip with Emerald Archon shards. If you want to save a Forma, [Corrosive Projection] can still work.

  4. Other Archon Shards?

    I personally use 3x Azure for more max energy to free up [Primed Flow]. With [Hunter Adrenaline], energy economy is pretty manageable.

  5. Other Helminth Options?

    Up to you. The new Eclipse maybe for more DR (I haven't tested this yet), Roar, all the good stuff. Gloom is just here for insane CC, godly lifesteal.

    I don't care. There are more factors than just armor and hp in Warframe. Gloom's CC + lifesteal, [Inaros]'s Scarab Armor, [Adaptation] stacks... these are enough for regular SP content (even more so in SP circuit or duviri)

Author's Note: This guide was made on the same (and hour) of the [Inaros] Rework on March 27, 2024. Please bear with me while I do some adjustments and testing (i.e. augments + the new sandstorm stat stick, as well as some helminth options). One thing I [Hate] seeing in other builds is minmaxing EHP with Saxum or [Health Conversion]. You WON'T need those for regular gameplay IMO. By the time you reach lvl800+ enemies, they will start doing hefty damage to Inaros, rendering any minmax survivability near-useless.
