i h8 META >:[ - Trinity Eidolon Solo Build

Are you a Tenno with crippling social anxiety who prefers soloing as soon as they have the chance to do so? Are you a Tenno who's not too keen on 4x3 or 5x3 or 6x3 4-man parties and just wanna chill-kill Eidolons whenever you feel like it? Are you a Tenno who hates the usual Volt Prime Shields with Propa-Raplak Amp Loc Pin lake Zenith speedrunning bullshit?

I present to you: i h8 META >:( Trinity Eidolon Solo build

THE BUILD

A non-META chasing setup for [Trinity] soloing Tridolons. Of course, this also works considerably well in a group if you plan on being the [Trinity] Mommy Babysitty the lures. All you have to do is to make sure Blessing is always up while managing your Energy which is easy enough with Energy Vampire. Cast it on nearby adds and kill them instantly to get the max energy without having to wait for the pulses.

We disregard Ability Range because we mainly use [Trinity]'s Blessing most of the time. We pop Eclipse if you're running solo or your squadmates aren't running DPS.

Somewhat beginner-friendly -> You don't need any Arcanes for this, nor any of the Primed mods (regular versions work fine). The most "expensive" part of this guide is the grind for [Mirage]'s Subsume. Check "Alternative Mods" for more info

ARGUMENTS, ADJUSTMENTS, AND ALTERNATIVES

1a. This guide was formerly a Dispensary focused build? Why?

  • Yes; this removes the need for the expensive Arcane Energize which you can only farm from...whoop-dee-doo...Eidolon Hydrolysts. (we don't talk about Railjack Orphix)
  • No need for Energy XL Pizzas
  • Helps build Arcane Blessing stacks for more survivability
  • Good for running with friends

1b. So why change it?

  • I've tried to solo her with Eclipse and found that Arcane Blessing and Dispensary/Equilibrium was too OP for energy economy, but the difference in Tridolon times is significantly slower
  • This Eclipse setup is friendlier for solo runs without worrying about lures

1c. Adaptation w/ Blessing and Arcane Blessing is too much

  • More survivability = more chill runs, but you do you
  • A good alternative is to run any other Arcane over Arcane Blessing and putting Vitality over Adaptation

2. Where's Arcane Nullifier?

  • Your K-Drive is your Arcane Nullifier. Simply place it in a Hotkey in your Gear Wheel, ride it when the Eidolon starts it's Magnetize AOE, then hop off when the last bubble disappears (not when it passes you)
  • Inertia Dampeners and Juice K-Drive mods allow you to recover some energy while you wait for the Magnetize AOE to finish (maybe add some -gravity +jump mods in there too)

3a. Alternative mods?

  • Aura: [Enemy Radar] for Vomvalyst QoL but keep Dead Eye if you or your teammates use Rubico, Corrosive Projection might screw up armor stripping but is a solid option still
  • Exilus: [Coaction Drift] is the best option for Dead Eye but Preparation is the best QoL unless you're willing to spend Energy Pizzas; Power Drift and Handspring are also good
  • Flex Slot: Streamline is the lowest priority mod, then Augur Secrets after that
  • You can keep Adaptation at Rank 0 for more leftover Mod Capacity which is converted into Starting Energy
  • You can put Umbral Vitality over Augur Secrets for even MOAR defense...but it costs a lot of Forma

3b. Alternative Arcanes?

  • Like I said, any will work but I put Arcane Energize Rank 1 there since it's free in Nightwave; lots of people have that already and each synovia break drops one Large Energy Orb
  • Swap to Arcane Nullifier (see above) or Avenger or Guardian, etc.

4. Archon Shards?

  • Blue Archon Shards for more max energy to free up Primed Flow: imo the best option in this case since Blue Shards are the least used shards and it works well for Ability Duration-focused abilities (Eclipse, Energy Vampire, Link, Blessing...everything that Trinity uses)
  • Red Archon Shards are valuable, lots of frames use these. You can run +Strength with this but I really prefer Blue over Red in this case to save up some reds
  • Yellow Archon Shards' Casting Speed is good but not for this setup since the ability animations are not too long anyway. Starting Energy is not an issue with Preparation

QUICK EIDOLON INFO

  • Take only around four lures with you to Teralyst or Gantulyst, bringing too many will slow down charging; one lure is enough to prevent them from teleporting and having an extra lure fully charged will ensure that the next Eidolon you fight won't teleport away while you charge your other lures (Trinity can keep them alive with relative ease)
  • Rubico, Chakhurr, Knell, and Necramech are all solid choices for Synovias; be sure to run Radiation+Cold with high on-hit DMG mods (not Galvanized, etc.)
  • I personally use the 737 Amp combo because I can't be bothered to learn the Raplak-Propa META. Madurai Contamination Wave or Void Strike with Klamora Prism shreds Hydrolyst Shields. Slap on Virtuos Strike and Eternal Onslaught/Eradicate Amp Arcanes. Simply use Void Strike or Contamination Wave and just hold LMB
  • [Shattering Impact] on [Vastilok] and [Sarpa] (armor stripping) speeds up runs but is not necessary if you're using [Corrosive Projection]

MISC NOTES

I am not claiming this as META:
[Volt] is more effective, but requires specific setups and speedrun tactics to keep the lures alive...Trinity is a more viable option for casual groups/solos without them having the fear of destroyed lures which wastes time, lengthens runs, and makes the randoms spam "-1" with the facepalm emoji

Good luck, Tenno
