Melee Companion Kitty | Passive Combo Gain | Equilibrium Feeder

Introduction

Melee Companion Kitty. Ideally paired with a critical damage based melee frame, especially those that can use combo but find it hard to acquire combo without additional setup. Pseudo-exalted or exalted builds mostly come to mind, such as [Gara] or [Baruuk]. This build was made mostly to assist my Baruuk Prime build.

The Build

[Cat's Eye] supplies an additive 60% critical chance bonus, only for 10 seconds and a 20 second cooldown, but is quite a boost to damage numbers.

[Tenacious Bond] gives 1.2x final critical damage multiplier, which gets quite high with high crit multiplier weapons and Archon Shards, especially the Violet shards set to critical damage and either [Primed Flow] or [Archon Flow]. [Bite] supplies the necessary critical chance for this to activate.

[Duplex Bond] converts spent energy into cloning the Kavat, allowing for up to 3 clones (4 total companions).

[Tandem Bond] allows melee hits from companions, including the clones, to add 6 combo count. This applies to the currently held melee weapon, being either the stat stick for pseudo-exalted or the exalted weapon itself, allowing for a no-mess solution to using Gladiator mod set bonus when using wave-like exalted weapons, such as [Baruuk]'s [Desert Wind Prime] (which do not gain combo from the wave attacks, only from the actual fists themselves).

[Swipe] allows melee hits to hit up to 5 enemies at a time, boosting combo by 30 points. Some sources have said that clones do not get copies of mods from the main companion at all, but the wiki entry for [Duplex Bond] says any mod that utilizes the basic attacks are good with the clones, such as [Swipe].

[Synth Deconstruct] further synergizes with the clones and [Swipe], supplying Health orbs on every enemy killed that the companions assisted on. Any build running [Equilibrium] makes this a free energy supply.

[Primed Pack Leader] heals the companion with every melee hit, also giving overguard when excess healing. Regular [Pack Leader] is good enough here, just provides a way to keep the companion alive and doing what it needs to do to support the frame.

[Link Redirection] is used here as the frame I pair it with is running [Primed Redirection], putting this Kavat's shield up to just shy of 1,900 shields. This can be swapped out for [Link Vitality] when paired with any health tank frame, or either [Calculated Redirection] or [Enhanced Vitality] are good enough backups when the frame doesn't have high health or shields.
