Girl Who Stinks Good - 775% dmg, 650% team dmg, 400% str, 45% eff, SP+ESO+Everything Else!

This isn't your average spore-and-snore Saryn build. This does everything. Far-reaching spores, solid survivability, incredible damage buffing. (775% for you, 650% for everyone else.) Wisps will want you, Rhinos will want to be you.

It's not for the faint of heart however, it's a constant balance of managing energy, cooldowns, and spores. It's not cheap, either. You need a reliable source of energy (probably Arcane Energize), up to 6 Primed Mods, and a forma in every slot. It takes a bit to get the hang of, but it's totally doable and a surprisingly fun playstyle.

  • Energy and Efficiency: We're going to be dumping efficiency hard. No room for [Flow], either. You're going to be living by each proc of Arcane Energize and you will need at least an R3 Energize or some other reliable source of energy to make this build work consistently.

  • Survivability: We're taking the umbral set to beef up [Saryn]'s already impressive survivability, you won't be going down very often especially paired with a sufficiently kitted out Sentinel or Vulpaphyla. [Saryn] is one of the few frames that can get enough from the umbral mods to consider them over [Catalyzing Shields] or [Rolling Guard]. (Also enables Soma's Fortress Salvo, which is a synergy only I care about.)

  • Strength: This is the number we want as high as possible, while still keeping the rest of the build bearable. Growing Power will have near constant uptime and Molt Augmented is trivial to get 250x in most missions. If you don't have Primed Sure Footed use Power Drift, but keep in mind getting knocked down will kill your dps more than 15% ability strength could ever give.

  • Range: Less important, but still better to put a little in to make sure your spores n' roars are getting where they need to be. Overextended is probably fine, too, but it cuts into the point of this build. Archon Stretch does nothing on it's own, but considering [Wisp]'s high pickrate, you'll get a surprising amount of value from it. Works with [Wisp] specters as well. If you're on a budget Stretch is fine.

  • Duration: You don't want this to be too low, constantly recasting is annoying and might not give you enough time to get your energy back between casts. Archon Continuity is great and makes Toxic Lash have even more procs. In this case it hard replaces Primed Continuity, but obviously use whichever you have.

  • Venom Dose: Turns Spores into Toxic Lash + Roar, basically gives you a 5th ability. Absolutely indispensable.

  • Helminth Ability: Roar is obviously the best pick, gives you and your team a free Bane mod. However, if you're already running Faction mods on your weapons, Xata's Whisper ends up being a better damage option, but will bring the dps of your team down. Recommended for solo players and tryhards. I'm also a big fan of Gloom on [Saryn], and it goes a long way for endurance, but so many other builds run it that there's a high chance that someone else will be using it so you don't have to.

  • Archon Shards: Currently I've felt comfortable running 5 Red Shards. 3 for Ability Strength and 2 for Duration. Swapping a Strength for Casting speed can be nice too, but the value you will get from it will vary pretty widely.

Post Whisper in the Walls, you'll ideally want 2 Green 3 Red. 2 Green for Corrosive Stacks (100% armor strip!), 2 Red Duration and, 1 Red Strength - The Red Strength being your flex slot for Amber Casting Speed or a Blue Shard (Health, Armor, Energy are all great - Use as needed.)

This isn't a theoretical minmaxed build, rather a build I've tested across ESO, SP, and bosses that gets the biggest numbers while keeping my sanity. One of the biggest problems I run into with this build is that [Saryn]'s abilities are too strong. (Spores have a notoriously hard time sticking to weak enemies.) If you don't want to play 4D chess every mission, swapping out [Stretch] for [Overextended] and Roar for Gloom works just fine.

For lower level content I recommend a more balanced build. Feel free to slot out some strength for [Flow] or [Streamline] if you're struggling, a decrease in dps is preferable to running around the map with no energy, after all!
