Rattleguts Flutterfire - Glaive Overload

Flutterfire Rattleguts is the perfect companion for Glaive-Type weapons running Condition Overload

  • One-Handed Secondary: this allows it to be equiped in your off hand while wielding a glaive-type weapon.
  • Status Chance: Rattleguts can be customized to have a fairly high base status chance.
  • Bullets (not beam): allows multi-shot mods to indirectly increase status chance.
  • Pax Charge: weapon recharges clip when not firing. Keep attacking with a [Glaive] instead of waiting on the reload animation.

After modding for Status Chance, Multishot, Fire rate and 2 additional status types the Rattleguts can inflict all 5 of it's status ailments reliably in just over 1/10th of a second! That's a 600% damage increase to a glaive equipped with Condition Overload!!! Not only that, it's also stripping off ~78% enemy armor and dealing semi-compotent damage on its own. When paired with the other benefits listed before, this makes the weapon a devastating part of a build.

The best partner for the weapon to date has been the Xoris, a critical hit machine that has a unique passive where the combo counter never times out. With no worries that firing the pistol at the wrong moment could cost the combo counter, it also benefits the most from the raw damage increase of [Condition Overload] and the weapon stripping enemy armor.

Side Note: This is a great addition of a larger build called Maggot Swarm Lord and used with the Pathocyst
