This is a very approachable build for [Ember]. I really like [Ember]; she's a generalist spellcaster that can clear lots of content with abilities alone, and her [Exothermic] augment lets her do it even for players without other means of energy generation like arcanes and Zenurik focus. If you do find yourself struggling for energy though, you can swap [Streamline] for a rank 4 [Fleeting Expertise] and [Augur Secrets] for [Augur Message].

The basic idea is to run through missions casting your 4 at enemies. In lower levels this will kill most enemies outright; otherwise, they'll be softened up by the damage and armour reduction from the heat proc. You can use your 3 for additional armour strip, and your 2 for damage resistance. Be mindful of not allowing your 2's meter to fill all the way as you'll start hemorrhaging energy; you can reduce it slightly by casting your 3, but it's usually more effective and efficient to just turn it off and back on.

[Ember] is great addition to any player's toolbox, and I strongly recommend giving her a try. If you like her and get her Prime, I have an endgame build for her below.
