We are modding base damage because Longbow Sharpshot is a unique damage multiplier. The best alternative mods are: [Bladed Rounds], [Hammer Shot], and fire rate (fire rate is moreso a QoL improvement than a significant damage boost). If you don't want to use bane mods, you can replace with one of these options.
If you don't like ADS-ing you can use Critical Delay, but the -fire rate is definitely noticeable if you're not also running a fire rate mod
For infested, replace Longbow Sharpshot with Primary Merciless and replace [Heavy Caliber] with two of the aforementioned alternative mods. It's up to you if you want to replace [Amalgam Serration], just know you will be missing out on the Deadly Pace bonus for some frames and you will be more reliant on Arcane stacks.
Incarnon Choices:
Evo II: Deadly Pace - With Sprint Speed 1.2 or Higher: +80% Fire Rate
Now we don't need to mod fire rate (but still nice to have if you want it to feel even snappier). Any frame above .96 sprint speed will be able to achieve the sprint speed requirement for this evolution using [Amalgam Serration]. We were already going to add [Serration] anyways so this is basically free. Only [Atlas], [Frost], [Grendel], [Sevagoth], and [Voruna] will require extra mods to meet the requirement. For Rhino and Saryn you will need the prime versions.
Evo III: Swift Deliverance - +60% Projectile Speed
You can also take -zoom to make Galvanized Scope easier to use
Evo IV: Elemental Balance - Increase Status Chance by +60%
Necessary for this build. It modifies the base status chance so all the status mods will multiply this value. The result is 264% status chance (not shown) for ~7.66 gas procs per enemy per attack.
