you really dont need an exilus mod, falloff only goes down to 80% at 16 meters and it has no punch through, meaning you are going to be grouping enemies to hit as many as possible, which means they will likely be close to you.

this is a novelty weapon, set the energy color to yellow then you go to your friend like "hey man check out how hard i can piss" then you piss on a ballista. if you want a good beam weapon that scales well, pick literally any of the primaries, they are all good.
