This is a versatile build requiring minimal forma, but working better and better as your collection of mods and arcanes grows.

It's designed to Lock Down enemies more than to kill them, going for range and duration as such. It also enables effective use of a variety of companions/pet, but the Aura Forma allow you to swap out for other Auras when necessary.

I use this build for running excavation arbitrations. I have another variant for when the Strangledome isn't going to be used much, and it uses the same polarities.

In terms of survivability, you have the set bonus from Augur mods, with extra shield capacity from [Vigor], and Arcanes to help keep you topped up. You can experiment with other arcanes situationally but this is how I normally run.

If you want to spend a few more forma, I suggest upgrading [Vigor] to [Primed Vigor], and, a Zenurik polarity for your Augment mod of choice.
