The [Archon Vitality] is used in lieu of Umbral Vitality because it causes double heat procs from Regulators Prime, resulting in massive stacking heat-proc damage, which is further augmented by Viral.

Adaption is for survivability. Arcane Energize and Arcane Velocity are best-in-class for [Mesa Prime].

Subsume Eclipse over Ballistic Battery. You'll want to keep 1 (Eclipse) up with 3 (Shatter Shield) 100% of the time. They both have the same duration, making it easy to remember. Eclipse gives you a massive DPS boost in the light, and ridiculous DR in the dark. Combined with Shatter Shield, Adaption, and a +Armor Archon Shard, survivability is fine for soloing SP.

For Archon Shards, I recommend 2x red with ability strength, 2x yellow with parkour velocity for QOL, and 1x blue with armor for survivability. If you can find tau forged shards, all the better.

This build dominates other builds listed here in terms of raw DPS. It's also quite tanky as long as you remember to keep #3 up.
