Puncture + [Mag] + Heat seems to give a net boost to damage across all factions, so it's a good weapon to use if you don't like swapping mods in and out all the time. Though you can swap Hellfire for Stormbringer to go pure puncture/mag, or swap it for infected clip for mag/toxic if you wanna burn shields & slip some damage through the shields at the same time
