Petrify Nekros Loot Gaze

The ultimate [Nekros] farming build. Petrify with [Ore Gaze] adds another farming source to stack on top of desecrate. Arcane [Rage] is very easy to activate because of petrify freezing enemies in place. Molt augmented increases the drop chance of [Ore Gaze] as you kill more enemies.

This build isn't very tanky and isn't ideal for steel path. There's no space for [Rolling Guard], shields, or [Adaptation] because we need more ability strength to allow [Ore Gaze] to be worth it while maintaining as much range as we can. This build is best for basically any content below steel path.

With molt augmented fully activated, the drop chance gets close to 100% when using petrify with desecrate. [Ore Gaze] drop chance scales with ability strength.

You can't really spam petrify with this build but it does have massive range so use it carefully and try to catch as many enemies as possible in the cast. Can't fit [Primed Flow] in this build because it already really stretches what is possible with [Nekros]. Normally, I mod [Nekros] for basically no ability strength but [Ore Gaze] changes that. You could try switching [Equilibrium] for [Primed Flow] but I think [Equilibrium] is better. Each cast of petrify costs almost half of your energy but you will regain that energy upon killing petrified enemies. Basically, never cast it twice in short succession and only cast petrify when you have full energy. You don't want to run out of energy. Desecrate should always be up.
