Ember: Chill Support

Support orientated build for chillin' in fissures and the like

Helminth build: replace her 1 with Nezha's Firewalker.

Process: 1 > 2 > 4 to increase build-up of 2 + set enemies on fire > 3 as needed to manage 2 build-up and cc/armor strip > 4 > 1 as needed > rinse and repeat

Coat many enemies with Inferno (higher range) to take advantage of energy drops from Exothermic when either you or your allies kills their flailing, fire-y bodies.

Enemies only need to die while under the effect of Inferno, not by Inferno. So the strength is lower and the duration higher than in the usual straight DPS Ember build, but is still more than enough for most content. Paired with some decent weapons and/or squad mates, and you're set to grind out some prime junk or whatever.

  • The lower strength avoids clearing the map too quickly to allow your allies to get a shot in, and is offset by her passive, which should be constantly active here.
  • The higher duration is to keep enemies under the effect of Inferno (and [Firewalker]) longer. Under effect of Inferno = they panic, don't attack = more likely to catch other enemies on fire = passive stays active = easier for everyone (incl. you) to kill = more energy for everyone.

[Firewalker] is optional, but beneficial because it: 1. cleanses status effects from allies (more support), 2. helps keep her passive up, and 3. lasts 40-50 seconds here, easing energy management. Additionally, Firewalker does not increase Immolation build-up like Fireball does, and Inferno is more than enough to keep Immolation up without casting Fire Blast more than necessary, or having to stop and re-cast Immolation to avoid draining energy.

Alternatively: keep Fireball, swap [Immolated Radiance] for [Fireball Frenzy] to offer heat damage to allies instead of DR.

No Aura Forma: [Growing Power] + heat status weapon synergizes well, and may be preferable over [Energy Siphon] entirely depending on your energy management situation.

[Power Donation] is an option if you really want to lean into support, but consider swapping [Augur Reach] with an ability strength mod to lose 7.5m of range on Inferno and keep ability strength around base (or above with Umbral mod(s)).
