Not accounted into the numbers is Avenging Truth. I am not one to do the math, but if wiki page holds any validity. This might get stupid, or the wiki is stupid. I give it 30/70 odds.

The idea around this is to use Guardian Derision to stack combo multiplier. This will also charge bonus damage via Avenging Truth. Bonus Damage is only used when performing heavy attacks. So this is a heavy attack build.

Went with viral because it is what I like. it energizes with heat nicely. You can do what you want. remember weapon has innate heat.
