Warding Halo's 90% damage absorption is a universal damage reduction, that works on Shields. Shields naturally have a 25% DR. That 7.5% of damage being taking to shields. Adaptation reduces that even more.
On Defence - Gameplay is a rotation of Pillage and Ward. Iframes 1.33 from shield gating, 3 sec when you cast Ward. 1 Second when Ward breaks.
On Damage - Pillage now is additive defence removal. at 200% power strength, it removes 50% of defences per cast. Chakram is increasing damage-taken by 3x (200%) Combat Discipline and Arcan Avenger for more damage.
On Support - Pillage removes the status on allies (no loss from replacing [Firewalker]), and Chakram makes energy and health orbs. [Combat Discipline] provides a tiny health per kill.
