Xoris Build for Beginners (cheap and MR4!), still super strong

by last updated 3 years ago

420

An obscure glaive weapon of Corpus provenance, intrinsically linked to Specter technology. The Xoris strikes rapidly and with great devastation. It is capable of chaining combos infinitely.

Xoris Build for Beginners (cheap and MR4!), still super strong

Basically a cheap version of this build:
https://overframe.gg/build/121393/xoris/xoris-20-the-new-s-tier-melee-volatile-rebound-steel-path-approved/

Every mod in this build is either pretty easily farmable at low levels, or are at max 20 platinum on the market. Aside from [Blood Rush] (which you can keep at a low rank early on), nothing costs that much endo either. It's also pretty easy to transform this into the expensive build as you get the better versions of mods (ranked up) if you want to take the damage even further.

Very worth investing in as a beginner. The MR requirement of 4 makes it so you can legit get this weapon a couple of days into the game, and will carry you through the entire star chart pretty easily.

If you can, replace [Organ Shatter] with the Amalgam version ASAP. The windup time decrease that comes with it is a huge deal and works with the "normal attack throw". This might be a little bit less beginner friendly though, as it requires the limited time event in Fortuna, the Thermia Fractures.

An important note: [Volatile Rebound] has self stagger with a pretty massive radius. It's best used with [Rhino] with his Iron Skin ability to prevent this. If you really don't want to use [Rhino], you can play around with [Volatile Quick Return] instead of [Volatile Rebound], or replace it with something like [Gladiator Might]. It's going to lower your damage by a lot but it might not matter early on.
