Why do we use [Virulent Scourge] instead of [Primed Fever Strike]?
In testing, [Primed Fever Strike] had preformed close to, but ultimately worse than [Virulent Scourge]. This is because [Primed Fever Strike] both lowers your overall status chance and increases the weighting of Corrosive to proc; as such, Viral procs significantly less than when you use Virulent Scourge.

Primed Fever Strike:
(652.5 / 942.5) * (0.66) = 0.46 Corrosive procs per hit.
(97 / 942.5) * (0.66) = 0.07 Viral procs per hit.

Virulent Scourge:
(348 / 638) * (0.858) = 0.47 Corrosive procs per hit.
(97 / 638) * (0.858) = 0.13 Viral procs per hit.
