Wisp: Roar/Ensnare/Rest & Rage - Breach Surge

Breach Surge is a strong damage loop when used correctly. This build attempts to get as much damage out of it as possible while using her other abilities when necessary. We subsume an ability that increases the damage of each spark through buffing the origin damage or the spark itself.

Roar is chosen because it double dips off of the origin and spark damage. Other buffs like Eclipse or Nourish buff the origin damage. Ensnare allows you to corral enemies into a small group for an easy blender setup. [Rage] from Rest & [Rage] buffs the spark damage by increasing damage vulnerability on the target.

Sol Gate is usually replaced as it's far too expensive on most builds but Wil-O-[Wisp] is another option if you're abusing your invisibility passive. Sol Gate forces guaranteed Breach Surge sparks on each hit but that's usually saved for a Sol Gate focused build due to the general energy economy issues involved.

Duration doesn't need to be much higher than the baseline because you'll be recasting Breach Surge on new enemies anyway. Tanking it too low causes Breach Surge to fizzle too early. It also hurts any subsumed buffs.

Efficiency is a little below the baseline as it's only used on Breach Surge a few times a minute. It can be increased a bit more if you're relying heavily on buffs or you're having issues with your energy economy.

Range if pumped up high enough for Breach Surge to hit an entire room. It doesn't go through walls but if you don't have enough range you'll need to spam it continuously in every room. Range can be lowered for more Strength on smaller tile sets.

Strength is increased as high as reasonably possible to get the most from each Breach Surge spark. If you're having energy issues you should replace [Blind Rage] with [Energy Conversion].

[Adaptation] has some redundancy with [Wisp]'s passive but this is an offensive build which forces your passive to constantly switch off as you attack enemies. Some form of survivability needs to be run on the build to survive during offensive transitions.

[Critical Surge] is a great mod if you're using a Sniper Rifle. The Efficiency boost is nice but isn't worth the slot unless you're planning on abusing the augment. Until the melee meta goes out of fashion, the base build won't be recommending it's use.

Arcane Aegis increases our survivability by simply taking damage. Any other arcane can be used to suit your playstyle. Equip the appropriate offensive arcane to boost your spark origin damage in solo builds.
