Gauss has a fairly well-rounded base kit so we've tailored his General Use build to utilize it without having to rely on a subsumed ability.
Duration is maxed because it has an interesting interaction with Redline. The buffs scale off duration instead of ability strength. Abilities that drain battery have a slight negative synergy with this depending on how you're using them but the massive QoL increase is worth it.
Range is kept around average so we can still reliably use Thermal Sunder to strip enemy armor in melee range. You aren't going to be nuking with this build so it shouldn't have a noticeable impact in gameplay. Other abilities don't need range at all but the armor strip is worth the range mods.
Ability strength isn't touched. You don't need any more ability strength but Kinetic Plating doesn't give you full damage reduction if you dip below 100%.
[Brief Respite] synergizes well with Mach [Rush]. You can give yourself a single hit of invincibility for each button press and it recovers almost instantly when you tap it. You can replace this with any aura to suit your playstyle.
[Rush] increases our sprint speed. This synergizes well with his passive to build battery meter. It can be replaced with many other exilus mods but the easy option is [Vigilante Pursuit].
[Vitality] is a flex mod and can be replaced with any other survivability mod to suit the level of content you're doing. [Rolling Guard] and [Adaptation] are good choices depending on whether you dealing with extremely high damage or forced status procs from enemies.
Arcane [Guardian] is run to give us additional survivability in any mission on the starchart outside of endurance. It can be replaced with any number of other offensive or defensive arcanes to suit the type of missions that you're running.
