The custom weapon of a fearsome Kuva Lich. Unlike the basic version the Kuva Ogris fires detonite-infused casings semi-automatically, from a smaller magazine, while dealing greater damage per shot.

Hello there,

Major update!

As per Wiki:

  • Kuva Ogris: Fires semi-automatically (instead of the charging trigger); smaller magazine, but greater damage
  • These weapons have a max rank of 40. To obtain the maximum rank, the player must polarize the weapon five times, with each Forma increasing the maximum possible rank by 2 (in a similar manner as the Paracesis)
  • All Kuva weapons deal innate elemental damage in addition to physical damage. The amount of this damage is random, ranging from 25-60%, while the type of element is determined by the Progenitor Warframe, as per the table below:

According to the above I added 5 forma to this weapon, so we can obtain Mastery Points from it.

For this build I suggest to pick: Toxin, to get... Gas!

Some info about Kuva Ogris:

  • Rockets explode in a 7.9 meter radius upon impact with a surface or enemy
  • Can use the Ogris-exclusive Nightwatch Napalm mod
  • Can use the launcher-exclusive Firestorm and  Adhesive Blast mods
  • Explosion inflicts self-stagger
  • Explosion has linear damage falloff from 100% to 20% from central impact
  • Enemies can destroy the rockets with gunfire or area of effect explosions
  • Both the actual rocket and the explosion can deal critical hits
  • Many Warframe abilities synergize well with the Ogris, particularly those with innate crowd control effects
  • The [Kuva Ogris] is unique compared to the original variant, as it employs physical damage instead of just Blast damage, even on the explosion. While the weapon still has Blast damage included within the explosion, it's mostly Slash damage, being one of the only explosive weapons that can deal radial slash procs innately without Hunter Munitions

Some explanation here is needed too. I choose that config because:

  • [Nightwatch Napalm]'s damage over time effect is Heat, and as we know, after "rework" Heat sets the enemy ablaze, reducing their current armor by up to 50% and deals damage over time
  • Will continue to proc Heat over the duration to enemies within the napalm, allowing it and further rockets to deal more and more damage to armored enemies due to Heat proc status effect of temporarily reducing current armor.
  • Radial attack will deal up to six different Status Effects... six? how?! OK, look: weakness, bleeding, confusion, inaccuracy, gas cloud and ignite.
  • On impact, it will create a ball of fire that acts as a physical object that can detonate Bombard rockets prematurely
  • Given that Nullifier Crewman bubbles will deflect the trajectory of [Ogris] rockets, it is advisable to aim at the nearest surface of an approaching Nullifier to allow the Napalm to spawn.

As you see this build is not focused on dealing pure damage, it's damage over time build. Good weapon for crowd controller like [Nidus] (Larva) or [Vauban] (Vortex) or any Warframe that can place many Enemies in one place.

Flex mod here is the newest addition to the game, [Radiated Reload], this mod can be replaced with Bane of Faction.
