Why do we use?

Why viral heat? Because im tired of viral slash bows weve seen a million times, so we’re trying a different approach, is it better than viral-slash? No, not generally,

So why mention heat at all? I say this because for one, its exilus augment and final evo gives us extreme status chance, and for two, a viral-slash paris incarnon is objectively worse than a viral-slash dread incarnon period. A viral-heat build is the only edge the [Paris] has over the [Dread], Thanks to the final evo, we receive a 300ish% status chance with this setup, so this time the [Paris] is an exception.

[Thermite Rounds]? To give us heat in base form and also cause we get a 50% ish status bump which gives more heat dps than [Hellfire] despite the weight.

Sharpshot is multiplicative to both base damage and aptitude separately, headshots are supremely simple with this weapon, so unless you dont have it this is pretty much mandatory. (if you dont have it, use merciless and mod for viral instead.

Why don't we use?

[Hunter Munitions]? [Paris] lacks ips, and since bows in general aren’t exactly known for their amazing status application, we would be hard pressed to use anything but this if it weren’t for its final evo.

Where is viral? It isnt included simply because there isnt enough room, for lower level content you wont see the results of viral because they are already dead and for higher levels you will likely be externally priming anyways, which this build is optimal for.

Don’t get your hopes up, because it's not all bad, after all, the [Paris] is still a very good bow in its own right, and if it's any consolation, both the [Paris] and the [Dread] are equally worse than the [Nataruk] in every way, so you can pick whichever looks the coolest stress free! :)
