I do not enjoy the playstyle of stacking heat Thermal Sunder, then using its cold version to fully remove enemy armor and nuke with the exponential scaling heat damage-over-time burst, which is similar to Expedite Suffering. I prefer using the cold version to freeze enemies with Redline, pull them in by applying heat with a primer like [Epitaph] or [Kuva Nukor] then cold with Thermal Sunder, and use a weapon to finish them off.

[Equilibrium] paired with [Synth Deconstruct] on [Diriga], [Panzer Vulpaphyla], or any sentinel using [Helstrum] is enough for energy sustain. [Primed Redirection] for longer shield gate. Redline gives casting speed, however, that only applies while it is active. The ability has a very slow cast time so I chose to use [Natural Talent]. Would recommend at least 100% casting speed, which can be achieved with Madurai or archon shards.
