Tanky Generalist Qorvex with Gloom - 19.7k EHP and Invincible - Comfortable and Quick

Experimenting with leaning into the high armor with the Umbrals.

  • Duration is important for the radiation pillars to synergize with his beam weapon.
  • Looks like his 2 is the least important, so replacing it with Gloom to make him invincible.
  • The slot with '[Stretch]' is flexible. Range may help with the pillars (and Gloom), or may be less needed, so you can replace with another armor mod, or more duration/strength with an augur mod. [Amar's Hatred] is also interesting; increasing armor and strength and giving him heavy melee attack teleportation.

Edit
After forma'ing this up and playing with this build for a while, I can say that it's absolutely versatile and survivable in high level content. Lots of synergy and survivability. When going into a high level mission, once I have at least 200 energy or so, I start up Gloom and cast his 3. I throw down pillars as I fight areas thick with dudes or around defense objectives, hallways, staircases, etc., then as I kill the irradiated enemies, my 3 builds up to 16 charges. Every once in a while when I think of it, when energy is full, I throw out my 4 across the pillars into groups of enemies to start a chain reaction. The speed is nice, and the extra range makes a big difference with Gloom and the pillars.

Yes, it has 2 Umbral Forma. But I also tend to have a few of those. No big deal. If you only have one, it'll just take you longer to build up the extra speed of [Rush]. That said, you can also safely forma [Stretch] instead. Range turns out to be good for this build, so saving the empty polarity for another armor mod or something isn't really necessary.

Oh, and don't do Corrupted Mods, kids. Those numbers may look cool, but it's better to be well-rounded than to waste mod space balancing and rebalancing and rebalancing. Just say 'no'.
