**Dagath Melee Rager Build - Paralyze your Enemies (super slowing) - with GLOOM

Second Iteration.

[Dagath] makes a good Gloom melee rager, especially with the fact that frequently casting 2 then 1 will nuke everything in front of you. Her 3 is also nice for increasing crits while wading through hordes, but I frequently forget about it. All of these abilities synergize well with Gloom. I've been forma'ing her up mostly on Steel Path, and did the Archon [Hunt] for the week too, as well as those Abyss levels, and she's surviving just fine, even with Eximus everywhere.

She does get thrown around a lot, so [Primed Sure Footed] is probably more useful in the Exilus than [Rush], like I had before. However, building her like above marries you to [Primed Sure Footed]. Instead of forma'ing the Exilus to pizza, you can also just use another Umbral Forma, then you'll have 16 free points to work with for [Primed Sure Footed], or [Rush], or whatever else in Exilus.

To make Gloom work, she really needed [Rage]. Before, I had [Augur Secrets] in there. In practice, I find that she's breaking shields a lot, so it's not hard to build energy with [Rage]. Because of [Rage], now, I've also replaced Arcane Energize with Grace. Arcane Energize might be overkill. True, she's got less armor than other good rage-tanks ([Inaros], [Grendel], [Wukong], etc), but like I said, she's been surviving just fine with all of the defensive stuff. I've seen a few times in the Abyss levels when the lantern-thing was draining my health when HP got low, but just hop into operator with Magus Repair for emergencies. I don't think I've dropped to zero HP with Dagath yet as of writing this.

When you into a mission:

  • Start up Gloom when you can, then start slaughtering everything with melee.
  • Whenever things get dense, cast her 2, then cast her 1, and you'll nuke a lot of them.
  • Use 3 for extra melee crit whenever you can.

I've been having the most fun with her while using my Quassus Heavy Attack build, which you can see here: https://overframe.gg/build/556407/
