This Heavy Scythe echoes battles of another time. It is far more a weapon of sheer force than one of finesse.

Simple beginner 1-forma [Hespar] build for SP!! ((This is my first build, so I'm sorry if there's any errors or optimizations idk about!!))
Mod breakdown:
[Organ Shatter]: Basic increase to critical damage, combines well with [Blood Rush]
[Carnis Mandible]: Increases slash and status chance, combines well with [Condition Overload] and [Relentless Combination]
[Gladiator Vice]: Attack speed increase, and critical chance which scales with melee combo multiplier. Can substitute with Berserker Fury too.
Relentless Combination: Now this is where some of the magic starts-- for every slash proc damage, we get a hit added to our combo counter, giving us extremely fast, high combos-- this, via [Weeping Wounds] and [Blood Rush], directly increases our status chance and critical chance
Drifting Contact: Basic increase to combo duration, helps prolong long combos from Relentless Combination in between fights/waves/whatever. Also increases status chance, for more slash procs, for higher combos.
[Blood Rush]: Increases critical chance with combo multiplier, up to increasing by 129.7% with a max 12x combo counter. Combined with [Gladiator Vice], we see a combined crit chance of 156.1% at 12x combo. Works well with high combo counter due to [Relentless Combination], and [Weeping Wounds].
[Weeping Wounds]: Increases status chance with combo multiplier, up to 179.2% in this build. This means, at 12x combo, for every hit, we'll be producing at least one slash proc, which adds to our combo counter each damage via [Relentless Combination]. Basically, these two mods together give us very fast access to 12x combo multipliers, and prolong existing combo multipliers via slash DoT.
[Condition Overload]: Increases damage with every type of status on our target. It's generally just a good damage increase, capping at +160% if puncture and slash both hit.
This combines to give fast access to 12x combo multipliers, a very high critical hit chance at 12x, and huge bleed DoT from slash off of heavy attacks at 12x (~50k per bleed on SP heavy gunner in simulcrum.) This works best on [Kullervo], due to increased heavy attack efficiency & the insane melee damage you can get under the effects of his first ability.
