Hey AoE abusers, the [Kuva Zarr] is one of if not the most popular AoE weapons, and for a good reason. It's got insane dmg potential, and if built right (which I think this one is), it can tear through SP. This build is made for the cannon mode, which I believe is superior to the barrage mode just because of the AoE meta. Remember that although this build only has 3 forma, a kuva weapon must have 5 forma on it in order to reach max rank (rank 40). Use a toxin progenitor, as this is a corrosive build, this is meant for one-shotting things instead of a viral build, which would also run [Hunter Munitions] for slash procs. I am not saying viral is bad on the [Kuva Zarr]. If anything, it might be better for lvl cap because they will likely not die in one shot. I just wanted to try something different. Also, I will be mentioning the terms CC (crit chance), CD (crit dmg), MS (multishot), AoE (area of effect), and SP (steel path). These are common acronyms used to save time for me writing and for your poor eyes that have to read this. With that being said, lets get into the mods.

[Galvanized Chamber] and [Primed Firestorm] serve to boost the AoE potential of the [Kuva Zarr].

[Serration] is there for obvious reasons: damage = good.

[Critical Delay] is there for the CC, which is important on every gun, although you are free to use [Point Strike] if you'd like. However, I would advise against it, as a 50% decrease in CC is a pretty substantial amount for a small fire rate increase.

[Vigilante Armaments] gives some more of that sweet sweet MS, as well as some additional CC. If you have a riven, this is probably the best mod to replace (although it always depends on the rolls).

[Vital Sense] is there for CD. The [Kuva Zarr] boasts an impressive 2.5 base CD multiplier, and [Vital Sense] raises it to an absurd 5.5x CD, which with multishot and a 75% CC, you can expect to do crazy damage.

[Primed Bane Of Grineer] (or any bane mod) is essential for SP, as the double dip in damage will help you out a lot. I know a lot of newer players are hesitant to use bane mods, and I totally get it, I was like that for the longest time. However, they are necessary for SP. Damage mods do not scale the way you probably think they do, as mixing two mods that boost dmg (e.g [Heavy Caliber] and [Serration]) will not provide as big of a damage increase as say, [Serration] + a bane mod or an elemental damage mod. If you're really too lazy to switch out the mods for every mission, it's usually ok to just keep [Bane Of Grineer] on at all times, as the Grineer scale very well in SP, making it difficult to kill them as you approach lvl cap.

[Stormbringer] is there to bring the corrosive damage into the weapon. Until they make a primed [Stormbringer], we will have to make do with this one.

Primary merciless is the only arcane I recommend using for this build, as the other arcanes are a little too niche. In general, if you have no idea what you are doing with arcanes, primary merciless is a pretty good safe option to choose.

Rivens are difficult to gauge for some, but as a rule of thumb, the good ones are usually CC, CD, and MS. Damage is not bad, but like I mentioned in the [Primed Bane Of Grineer] section, it is not always the best. However if you have this on a riven with any of the aforementioned buffs, its a nice addition to have. Fire rate is also decent on pretty much every gun. This holds true for the [Kuva Zarr]. Additionally, rivens with + toxin or + elec are good for this build, as it helps with the corrosive damage. Usually, + ammo max is not a huge deal, but with the kuva Zarr only having 5 ammo, a + ammo max will be useful. However, a - ammo max will be devastating to the kuva Zarr, and I would not recommend using a - ammo max riven on the [Kuva Zarr].
