This build works via synergizing high status chance, 4 status types, and [Condition Overload] with heavy hits and insane crits. The only downside to this weapon is the lack of Puncture damage, giving you one less status type to drive bigger damage numbers.

Just one stack of VIral doubles your damage output, up +325% at the 10x stack cap. It's of greater value to stack this faster, even if it caps at 10x. If you play right, few things should survive long enough to [Reach] the Viral cap anyway.

Electric remains unmodified as it exists solely to synergize an additional status type with [Condition Overload] and will quickly come into play against tougher enemies requiring more melee pressure. This type of build normally requires some trade-offs or a Riven, but this weapon has clear innate beauty giving it real end-game potential.

Meta navel gazers who failed high school algebra will tell you to lower your damage output so that Viral has less chance to proc (because they Reddit somewhere). Every hit does all weapon damages totaled, with only the status types applied determined by the percentage distribution of damage types. Thus lowering your damage literally just lowers your damage... substantially... and ignores the inconsequential ramp up time it takes to apply those "carefully weighted" statuses. But with enough speed and hits, status happens.
