Evolution II has situational perks with gimmicks that depend on your playstyle.

• ✔️Perk 1: Edge of Justice
  Increase Damage by +50. With Melee Weapon Equipped: +40% Attack Speed.
  Best perk in most situations but requires the melee weapon to be equipped in sword-alone mode.

• ⚠️Perk 2: [Guardian]'s Promise
  Increase Damage by +50. With Overshields: +80% Heavy Attack Efficiency.
  Good perk for heavy attack builds but requires a loadout that can generate Overshields.

Evolution III has a few quality of life bonuses that are up to preferences.

• ✔️ Perk 1: Standoff
  Combo Timer paused when weapon is holstered.
  Most useful perk but on frames with exalted weapons the combo duration is reset.

• ⚠️Perk 2: Swordsman's Celerity
  With Melee Weapon Equipped: +20% Movement Speed
  Useful perk on loadouts looking to maximize movement speed.

• ⚠️Perk 3: Swift Break
  +60% Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed
  Great on heavy attack builds but may be redundant with other forms of Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed.

Evolution IV has better options depending on the elements chosen and the build.

• ⚠️Perk 1: Absolute Dominion
  Increase Status Chance by +20%.
  Best on status effect focused builds with external critical chance but underperforms due to the forced Bleed procs.

• ⚠️Perk 2: Subtle Force
  Increase Critical Chance by +6%. Increase Status Chance by +14%.
  Great balance between status and critical chance for hybrid builds but underperforms due to the forced Bleed procs.

• ✔️Perk 3: Absolute Valor
  Increase Critical Chance by +12%.
  Best option for raw damage builds and synergizes with low status chance builds due to the forced Bleed procs.
