With Abyss of Dagath Update came much needed changes with our companions. Because of that, we can also change their weapons, so they can actually become useful and... deadly.

So why galv. mods? Good question... companions can't stack them, BUT(T)! we can. We can stack those bonuses for them.
How does this work? You can stack galv. mods bonuses if your weapon matches your companion weapon. WAIT, WHAT? OK, listen to me... if you are using a rifle weapon, your companion also needs to use a rifle. If you change your weapon for shotgun, you should also change your companion weapon for shotgun. GET IT?! I hope so.
