Strength is Hildryn’s virtue. Her unique high-damage abilities are powered by her Shields, which can be recharged with Energy. Hildryn proves that a strong offense is a good defense.

Blimpdryn: Aim glide forever and provide awesome utility. USE WITH MADURAI FOR SLING STRENGTH. I run a lot of radar because it fits my style using the locked-orientation overlay map(and sometimes might swap Aerodynamic for Enemy Radar if I care less about aim glide time on certain missions/maps), but you do you! <3

Why so much aim glide? Because I use a slow-ass Tombfinger Primary. (See my "Florida Riven" tombfinger build: https://overframe.gg/build/389327/tombfinger/zebliths-florida-riven-tombfinger-primary/ ) It hits like a truck, but slows you down if charging up while on-foot. BUT, if you're aim gliding, you can charge/fire while the glide keeps you moving quickly, allowing for fast clearing on Exterminate/Survival missions. (I also put in Aerial Ace, which basically lets you stay afloat "forever" and easily bullet jump another direction mid-air from a glide, as long as you keep finding stuff to kill.)

Secondary: I tend to use the Laetum (with ammo efficiency on aim glide) or my "Kitty Poppin" Sporelacer: https://overframe.gg/build/391750/sporelacer/zebliths-kitty-poppin/
Melee: [Praedos] because it's solid and can buff mobility
Companion: Nychus Moa with Tractor Beam for more aim glide time and hitting zero gravity while aim gliding, allowing Hildryn to float in-place. Great for getting precision headshots with the [Laetum], or just being harder to hurt when you're defending an objective and don't need to move around. It's also pretty tanky with [Blast Shield] and Link Shields.

Presently, I run her with these Archon Shards for my own preferences:

  • Tauforged Azure (Health, +225)
  • Azure (Health Regen, +5/s)
  • Crimson (Ability Strength, +10%)
  • Crimson (Ability Strength, +10%)
  • Amber (Parkour Velocity, +15%)

With base 199% ability strength in this build, you get a 59.7% Roar for you and your squad, and she shreds 79.45% shields (with Roar active) and 49.75% armor per Pillage. (So two pillages will remove 99.5% of armor, effectively eliminating it WITHOUT changing the damage resistances, if you want to still leverage the bonuses Radiation/Corrosive get against armor)

Using the Madurai focus school for Sling Strength (+40% Ability Strength after a chained sling) bumps this to a 71.7% roar, and she shreds 102.59% shields and 59.75% armor per Pillage. Hitting that 100% shield strip and thus bypassing enemy Shield Gating is a massive improvement in offensive capability, so that school is highly recommended for this build.
