I use this mostly in multiplayer. Melee guidance stops you from being able to make a combo with your Desert Wind. There are more in-depth guides than what I could personally offer, but try to watch the Anzvasion videos I posted.

I put two Amber Shards on him for 100% more Energy Efficiency on Orbs pick-up and two Crimson Shards for 20% strength, so with max stacks on Molt Augmented, that gives me 100% Armor Strip. If you can't use Archon Shards, change [Stretch] for Augur Secrets.

This is arguably weaker than building combo on his Exalted Melee, but much easier to do and maintain, shreds non-Endurance Steel Path, but for scaling purposes, I would recommend the Armor Strip. This is not an Endurance Run build, but it should do fine for up to 1 to 2 hours on Steel Path Survival. More than that, I haven't tested.
