Gloom is a perfect blessing for [Chroma], it lets you use any weapon to stay healed, along with turning ice [Chroma] elemental ward into a self heal that out performs incoming damage. meaning you can stand there with gloom and elemental ward active and do nothing while surviving.
with vex armor it only calculates the max strength when it is first cast. so you only have to proc [Growing Power], [Energy Conversion] or bind with a [Nidus] for the very first cast of vex armor. as long as you dont let it run out it will maintain the upper limit as if you have the origonal ability strength. also keep in mind gaining ability strength then refreshing vex armor will not update its maximum possible buff. you must let it run out, proc all your ability strength buffs, then cast vex armor once more to get its full strength.
to play a more supportive version of this build swap [Adaptation] for overextend and if you have a energy restoring frame with you swap [Flow] for [Stretch]. the 95% slow to all enemies in gloom will easily outway the 90% damage ressist from [Adaptation]. you may need to put an aditional umbra forma or run a lower leveled version of some mods to make the support builds fit better.
