This is primarily a "stat stick" being carried for the Amalgam bonuses and additional combo-counter grace from Primary Dexterity more than as an actual weapon itself.

That said, the weapon easily one-shots most mobs in Steel Path, including Nox and Acolytes. It does far more damage than the Overframe calculations reflect. The Daikyu has a forced Impact status, which combined with multi-shot, gives 2 chances to proc [Internal Bleeding] at 70% each (due to weapon speed) and an about equal chance to apply stacks of Viral for 100% and 125% increased damage. Each hit is a guaranteed crit, applying a absurdly massive bleed based on the weapon's over-all damage with a yellow or orange headshot crit multiplier while completely ignoring the target's armor (because it's Slash damage). This weapon hits like a truck, but the bleed is way bigger than the hit itself.

Body shots can still be underwhelming, so aim true. Terminal Velocity will help with your flight-time and accuracy.

This is designed to compliment my Ash Prime "Oni" melee-tank build. The Life Steal from Amalgam Daikyu Target Acquired is pivotal to survival in aggressive, non-stealth Nikana-based toe-to-toe melee. Each hit of my "Oniyuri" Zaw will heal about 1000 Health at twice a second before speed ramp up from Arcane [Fury] and [Berserker Fury]. Spike damage should be your only concern.

If you want even more damage and don't care about the speed boost, replace [Amalgam Serration] with a Prime Bane of X mod as appropriate.

Replace the Riven with either [Bladed Rounds] (if your Skill™ permits), [Split Chamber] if you plan to use this rarely, Galvanized Chamber if you plan to keep it rolling, or Speed Trigger if you want to pull shots faster/more often. Avoid [Split Flights] as the buff duration doesn't work with the long charge time of this weapon.
