Splatter enemies with a short-range stream of corrosive bile and then toss the ammo bladder as a grenade when reloading. The emptier the pistol’s ammo bladder, the more potent its damage. A fully empty bladder packs the biggest punch.

When reloading the charger is thrown as a grenade that does a whole lot of damage. Reloading from empty is recommended because the damage is much much higher.
The grenade from empty can one-shot steel path enemies, especially if you put statuses on them with the Lazer before reloading.
You can get knockback from the grenade and, although you'll throw it and it'll explode, you won't actually reload. However this isn't an infinite loop of from empty grenades. Only the first one has "from empty" amounts of damage, the other ones are the from non empty amounts of damage, so it's not worth trying to abuse that mechanic.
